How to find the right cap size for your baby

A cap that fits stays on, keeps the ears covered and feels comfortable all day. Baby heads grow quickly, so the age on a label is only a rough guide. The most reliable way is to measure.

How to measure

  1. Use a soft measuring tape.
  2. Measure around the widest part of your child's head, just above the ears and eyebrows.
  3. Keep the tape snug, but not too tight.

Write the number down in centimetres. MINIX caps are sized by head circumference, for example 38–40 or 44–46.

Cotton or knitted: does it change the size?

Knitted caps are naturally stretchy, so choose your exact size for a snug, warm fit. Caps with ties can be adjusted a little under the chin.
